crystallized T

so I went to go do my shot today and I noticed my T looked like it crystallized inside the vial. I'm just going to call in a refill and not use this one, but did this happen to anyone else? I know the weather has been cold here and we have been having tons of snow, but I keep the T in my room, its not like its sitting outside. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone knows what causes this?

Yeah, it's from storing at colder-than-normal temperatures. Warming and shaking is supposed to de-crystallize it. Here's Pfizer's info sheet on the subject; it looks like it doesn't do it any harm.

I moved mine from the cupboard against an outside wall to the bookcase in my bedroom, mostly because I didn't want to have to spend too long warming it before drawing it up. I guess this is another reason to store in a place that's not too cold.

Interesting, my provider said to not use it if it was crystalized. I will have to ask her. Good to know!
