Can someone tell me if there is a support group in the West Lafayette area of Indiana? I know there is in Indianapolis, but that is an hour or more drive.

It looks like Trans Lafayette has a lot of trans stuff going on -- including a monthly support group, if their website is to be believed -- right there in beautiful downtown Lafayette. They even have a Facebook page.

This may sound paranoid, but the job I have brings me into one on one contact with almost every type of profession around. So far, I've not told anyone except the friend I live with. Her husband doesn't even know. I want to meet someone like me, but at the same time, I'm afraid that the fact I am a transgender might get out and although many of my clients would be ok with it, just as many wouldn't be.

Thanks for the information. I'll see what the group is about and how much value they put on privacy. I don't know that I want to be alone for the rest of my life.
