Hey everyone , i just watched raiden quinns videos on youtube and have a question.

This is for anyone who has had FFS before .  She said she had to have a catheter placed in while she had the surgery and im wondering if this is normal procedure . From when i had my SRS i remember the catheter and that hurt like you wouldnt believe ...ugh! makes me cringe lol.

isnt it possible to not have one in or a adult diaper instead ?

I had a catheter for my FFS, and I think that is standard procedure, so I don't think there's a choice, but ask the surgeon when you have your consult.

I guess I'll find out soon but Im thinking yes... I had a catheter in for VFS, Im sure they will for FFS... They do knock you out before they put it in and its gone when you wake up... Its no big deal but I do remember it was hard to pee for a while afterwards... Still Im sure nowhere near as bad as it would be for SRS though

I did not felt any discomfort regarding the catheter duringbor after FFS.

The catheter was even during or after grs not an issue.

  Aw, crap.  I hadn't expected this was needed.  I really hope it doesn't bother me after my FFS.  I've had a urinary tract infection before and it stung like hell to pee because the urethra was irritated.  My assumption is this could feel quite similar.

I donno, Im thinking with all the good dope Im gonna be on to kill the pain from FFS I probably wont feel it much I hope

during my SRS while i was out it went in and even when i woke i had it in for 3 days which never bothered me but when it came out.... geezuz! i thought my insides were being ripped out of my pee hole haha . but after it was out i never had any pain peeing... it was normal... just the inital removal of it was incredibly awful experience haha. but good to know i guess i will have to suck it up another time in a few months .

Gah, you'd think a tube intended to carry an acidic liquid wouldn't be so damned sensitive!

My experience was the same as missymay, in during surgery, out late the night of the operation. I think you have to have it, I don't think you are able to pee while you're under anesthetic so you have to have the catheter. Or your bladder keeps filling up, It's not pleasant but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

with Femilife I didnt have a catheter but when I went to beverly hills I had one

This seems quite normal if not universal as many girls responding here have been to different surgeons.  Mine went in after I was knocked out (9am Sat) and was removed the next day (11am). Didn't feel a thing although the nurse kept telling me to breathe in. I wasn't really caring at that point!

Funny, I didn't even thought of any this catheter stuff until you mentioned. After surgery when I woke up, I didn't have anything there.. Went to the toilet like 5 hours later, and it stang a little, and I thought this is weird, but probably normal after all the medications and stuff they had me on.. I felt it maybe a little the next day, and after that obviously not because I forgot about it. 

question.... for the girls who didn't receive one... which surgeon did you have? Im booked with Dr.Cardenas

I think it depends on the length of your surgery. All of mine have been less than four hours and all but one less than two hours. I have never had a catheter. DiMaggio and Facial Team.

I was out for the works and if there was one in there I never noticed it at all... So many flavors of PAIN post op that I can see how I might have missed it Thankfully thats OVER now

When I found out about the cath it freaked me out
When I woke up I thought wow they did not do it
A couple hours later nurse came in to take it out and I was like what !!!

For my FFS I was very ignorant about catheters. I thought they were needles pushed through the abdomen and into the bladder. I had no idea where it had actually been inserted until the nurse yanked it out a day after the operation. Pain relief pretty much killed the sensation and made it easy to disassociate from the procedure. My only thought at the time was "Oh, so that's what a catheter is - how interesting". In retrospect I was very glad that I had one put in. No way do you want to be worrying about dealing with a full bladder every few hours after having major surgery.
