I just wanted to share a discovery about electrolysis.  My beautician normally uses a standard stainless steel needle tip, but the other day she offered to try a gold-plated needle.  She said it conducts better and delivers more of the energy to the tip.

We had had a problem earlier with some scabbing that we thought might be related to treating the whole hair shaft rather than just the end.  Well, after using the gold version, I had no scabbing at all and the redness faded much faster!  It also felt a little less painful.

So if you can ask for a gold needle, it is worth it in my opinion. :)  I just hope it's as effective?

Gold is one of the better conductors for electricity, that is why is is often used for computer connections and other fine electronics.
