Hello my name is Jane, I'd like to introduce myself here before making conversation in the forums. I've been checking out this site for a while and decided to make an account. Well I'm a 21year old MTFand have been going through therapy and was diagnosed with gender identity disorder. I am getting ready to start HRT this week and will be asking questions and could use some advice from people who have dealt or are dealing with these same issues. I want to start going full time as a woman soon, (I am still presenting male as of now). I am in college so there is going to be lots of changing coming this semester for me and could really use some advice on coming out to the world especially. Though thats for another post :) I live with my mother and she is helpful in my process so I do have family support. I would really appreciate to chat with anybody going through or have gone through similar experiences.  :)

Hi Jane, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm from Boston. It would be nice if everyone in the medical community got up to speed and dropped the GID diagnoses. You came to the right place for chatting with people who share your experiences. See you around the site!

Hugs, Devlyn
