Some troll has posted a fake FB account under my previous male name.

I am not in the least embarrassed of my past, it is public record. I am very proud of my former male self, he kept me alive and protected me.

If you receive such a friend request please report it as fake.

Yes, I did receive one. Wasn't going to accept it since I only accept requests from people I know in person. Wondered about it at the time, thought it might have been a relative of yours - will report it.

Sorry to hear this Cindy, you're an inspiration for taking this so well.

Due to certain things in my history which I have only revealed to 3 people on this forum I have extensive experience with Facebook trolls having been targeted myself (not trans related). I know we all have a great deal of respect and affection for Cindy so please don't try to target the person doing this, you may think you're helping but you may inadvertently cause this to escalate.
Just respect Cindy's request, if contacted then report this as a fake account.

It would seem the account has been deleted, no longer exists in my "friend" requests.
