My prom is may 2nd but I am not exactly sure when to go rent it.

I bought my tux for prom (surprisingly enough it kinda still fits). Call the rental place and see what they have to say.

Brandon, def call sooner rather than later, since you're not the only one looking.

Nygeel... come on man!!!! I'll post my only grad pic from my Catholic HS (I have hated my pics since almost always... not so much now that I'm viewing myself as male!)

I think I am gonna wait till after spring break because I am going to Missisipi to see my grandparents.

If there is more than one place to rent, you may be fine to wait. But, I would call them and ask. I had one heck of a time trying to get a tux for a friend's wedding and that was with two months to rent it. We only had the one rental place in my hometown though.

I agree with Ayden. Another thing to consider is that any place that rents formal wear will have most of their stock in the more common sizes. If you're not "standard issue" for a guy your age, both sizes and choices of style could be limited if you wait too long.

I think if you believe you'll need it to be tailored in any way, I would order it at least month in advance. A lot of people are last minute shoppers so if you order it too close to the date they might not be able to take it in or hem it up.

And, if you order it sooner than later, you can have it fit for perfection if anything changes along the way. I would get it at least mid March or end of March. 🙂

Great then ill start looking into prices know but ill prolly get it by april.
