Hi everyone, I'm looking for any information on instances of gender variance in history, specifically, from the B.C. time period. The LGBT club at my college is doing a history project, and that's the part of it that I was given to research. It should be really cool once we get it going, but I am not really good at researching this sort of thing, could someone please help me?? Thank you!

I can suggest two sources: 1- "transgender Warriors" by Leslie Feinberg is a very good book for history.

2) I found a website, http://glbtq.com which is an LGBT encyclopedia.  They have a number of good articles but might be a little light on the stuff from Before Common Era.

I hope this helps!
