I've got Blue Cross, and they have always covered my androderm. I don.t know about surgery though.

Keep in mind that it's not just the umbrella of "BlueCross/BlueShield" or "Aetna" that will determine coverage. There are also rules and laws varying from state to state that will imapct it, and whether or not you obtained your coverage through the company directly, an ACA "exchange", or through an employer.

It's best to read all the fine print, ask questions, and specifically inquire about the surgery. A keyhole procedure may have different coverage rules than a DI, and whether you have it done in the state you live in or out of state, and which state....will also likely make a difference.
To be or not to be....that is the question

Anthem is the plan I have, which is just a branch of Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The plan I have was discontinued with Obama care, but those who had the plan for a couple years prior were grandfathered in. Its damned expensive though. With my health issues, I have to keep it though.
