Live long and prosper. Thanks for the memories.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Leonard Nimoy, Spock of 'Star Trek,' Dies at 83

Leonard Nimoy, the sonorous, gaunt-faced actor who won a worshipful global following as Mr. Spock, the resolutely logical human-alien first officer of the Starship Enterprise in the television and movie juggernaut "Star Trek," died on Friday morning at his home in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles. He was 83.

OP Comment:

I know it's not a transgender topic, but Star Trek was a big part of my life when I was a kid and probably had a lot to do with my going to engineering school. I have even been to a few star trek conventions and at one time had a Yeoman Janice Rand costume complete with the beehive hairdo.

R.I.P. Mr. Nimoy.

Many years ago Leonard Nimoy owned a pet store in the neighborhood where I grew up (we're talking early 1970s.)  It was called Pet Pad in Canoga Park, California.  I loved hanging out there.  He sold monkeys and chipmonks and aligators and huge snakes.  I remember they had a few foxes and otters, and cool dog breeds that you never saw in other pet stores.  Mr. Nimoy was often there; he was a very nice man.  And he loved animals!

Indeed, thank you for the memories Mr. Nimoy.  You were a class act!
FEAR IS NOT THE BOSS OF ME!!!

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Very sad, indeed. I was always a Star Trek fan and to me Leonard Nimoy is who made Star Trek what it was. People of all races and planetary origins pulling together to explore new worlds. R.I. P., Mr. Nimoy!

You know, this has been a horrible day. :( I've been crying all day since I heard about Leonard Nimoy. He really is one of my biggest inspirations in my life.

Star Trek was always my favorite show, but Leonard as Spock is what hit it home for me. I have a wall in my room dedicated to him. I even have ancient Vulcan calligraphy tattooed on my arm with the quote, "Dif-tor heh smusma. Peace and Long Life. El-dvelan. Abi'maut-shaht. Ozhika" Which translates completely to, "Live long and prosper. Peace and long life. Free will. Until the very end. Logic."

He really brightened my life. Made me laugh and smile. He wasn't just a great actor, he was a kind human being. I'm very sad to see him leave this world. :( He will always live on in the final frontier.  :'(

I made this and It was suggested to me that I animate it. So, I am working on it.

"Maybe I really joined with them to keep the loneliness at bay.
Yet in the end, you couldn't make it go away. Others could rely on you, but you couldn't rely on them."

"She's a little scared to get close to anyone because everyone who said, "I'll always be here for you," left."

You are welcome, Talim. Animating that would be such a cool thing to do, as it would be so fantastic, like watching a Star Trek movie itself!
