An androgyne
Is a sibling to all genders. A man feels one with the men, and sees the women as a cousin, similar but different. The woman feels at one with the women and sees the men as a cousin, similar but different. An androgyne is not one with men or one with women, but neither are they cousins, to an androgyne everyone is a sibling. An androgyne understands some of both of them but none of all. They see the two sides of arguments but find it hard to realise why one is one side and one is the other. An androgyne walks through the world of gender like a lost tourist enjoying the view, an androgyne watches, is one with no-one but recognises parts of themselves in everyone. An androgyne crosses great gulfs because they never realised the gulf was there, if someone tells them then they may fall. If oil is male and water is female, is they are swirled in a glass, the male and the female would be able to tell them apart. An androgyne will tell you that there is liquid. An androgyne can seem fully male or fully female, but they have little attachment to either, if circumstances change, so could they. An androgyne drifts without anchor. Any film or book where a character can be flipped as male or female without vastly affecting the story is androgyne. Luke Skywalker is, and Leia. God is androgyne.
