Even if after you spent 6 - 18 months or so training your voice and you sound perfectly female, do you still go for the tracheal shave?
I would prefer to train my voice rather than turn for risky and expensive voice surgery but my Adam's Apple is a bother to me, especially when I'm going full time.
When i go out when I'm going full time i don't do much to hide my Adam's Apple because i don't feel that it's in a good enough view for people (even myself as i look at myself in the mirror) to see it, and the few times i do get clocked i'm thinking it's because they do see the Adam's Apple. Mind you, i haven't undergone any gender-related surgeries yet.
