I'm female and genderfluid (possibly FTM trans, still figuring it out), and I have really long blonde hair.  I'm finally taking the leap and getting it all chopped off so that I don't look so feminine.. but I want to donate my hair to someone that's MTF and in need of a wig.  I can't find any specific wig companies or brands that specialize in the trans community.  So.. who wants my hair?  Does anyone on here make their own wigs, or do you know anyone that does?

That is so nice of you. As you may know so many of us would just die for long thick hair. I would love to have long blonde natural hair.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

I would recommend contacting local boutiques that specialize in "hair systems" for women generally. What often happens (and I will be going this route as well) is that women with severe hair loss (including transgender women) start out with wigs but then graduate to integrated, bonded hair "systems". These systems are medically glued to your scalp and then woven in with any existing hair and they look fabulous. They are worn for up to several weeks at a time, cannot be pulled off any easier than normal hair can be pulled out, and the woman can exercise, swim, shower, all of it with her hair system and no one will ever know except her and her hair dresser.

Many natal females also suffer massive hair loss that never grows back due to various cancer treatments, so both transgender women with hair loss and cisgender women with medical hair loss use such boutiques.
The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

I sent A pm but realized you might not have enough posts for those permissions yet. Hair extensions are another possibility for use, which doubles up with potentially talking to hair stylists that specialize in this...or finding someone who would want to pursue that on their own with a similar color already.

How about "Locks of Love". It is for children.

Unfortunately, locks of love actually does not use 80%+ of donations - thrown away in the trash or sold to third world countries for pest control and other purposes. There is documentation via google. They don't have a bad intent...but...they are deceptive in their marketing for what they intend to do, and what they actually do.

There are so many people in more need than me that I feel embarassed mentioning, but I also have blonde hair, growing it out to breast length from shoulder length, about 6 inches to go, and I've been looking at extensions to ease my impatience, I'd so be interested! It'd be lovely to know who the hair is coming from, and regardless what a lovely gift you'd give to someone in need!

;p I am also blonde by natural color, and not as far along. If Gemini is willing, I would be honored to try to make it work. Of course, my issue is that I won't be able to do full time and attach extensions for some time, as I am still hoping to get hrt started soon.

So...as much as I would like to try...

...there is likely someone better timed than I am right now.

Still, I would want as much length added as would be possible when I do so.

I shall stop rambling now.

Gemini - we support you regardless.
