I don't expect most of my hobbies and interests to change, just how I do them. I love riding my bike to get around my city. I used to do so with reckless abandon, hoping for an accident. I now stop at traffic lights, take it easy and pay no mind as to who may be passing me. The more care I have taken of myself the less I have wanted to risk injury or death. Hmm, go figure!
I also love long distance walking, I've covered 36 non stop miles in a day. This spring I'm signed up for my first marathon too. Appart from those interests? Cooking (been doing that since I could reach the stove) , art making, writing, shopping, going to museums, organizing stuff and I do enjoy housework. No joke. I've been wanting to get in to baking. I love gardening and yardwork too. Not so much grass and yards as planting and digging. I love stones and aranging them.
For a living I do the grunt work necessary to put on contemporary art shows. Lifting heavy stuff, carpentry, cabinet making, rigging, measuring, driving scissor lifts, and all kinds of slow, small quiet stuff like wiping the smudges off the walls for five hours with a sponge. I have always been a tomboy but a girly one.
