Tonight is the first night that I'm going out as a man, and I can feel my heart going a hundred miles an hour. I managed to find a suitable outfit after a slight wardrobe disaster and I'm packing correctly, which is comforting. Still now I have an hour to pass until the taxi arrives to take me to the nightclub, and avoid my housemates (they don't know I'm transgender). So nervous right now. Wish me luck, I'll post how it went.

Wow, this is great!

The first time can sure feel like someone is trying their best to rip the heart out of your chest, but go at your own pace(minute by minute if needed) and try to enjoy the moment to the maximum!

Let us know how your night went!:)

P.S. It does get it easier:).

Thanks for all the support, it really means a lot to me. The night went pretty good overall, minus some last minute wardrobe malfunctions and the taxi driver not knowing where the club was. I'm not sure that I fully passed, my voice is a definate give away, but I enjoyed myself and I met someone. I'm going to try coming out again later this week, I need some nice going out clothes for Saturday.

Congratulations NightOwl! The first night out is always unforgetable. Mine was only 6 weeks ago and it has been onwards and upwards from there. You have the courage inside you and when you delve into it life will reward you. It not only gets easier but keep pushing beyond your comfort zone for you will be exponentially rewarded. <3

Glad to hear it went good:).  Every time is a confidence builder and remember that you are the harsher judge of yourself.  Often what you think is a give away or is not that great, is something others won't pick up or at least, not to the level you think they will.

First and foremost, make sure to enjoy yourself!:)
