Once you have your chest done, you look pretty normal and can move around in the summer without a shirt. If you think of the situations where your groin would be exposed, there are very few. Unless you are planning on taking a shower in a gym with other guys, there really isn't another situation where you would be exposed. (I'm not counting a relationship as you would probably have told her anyway).
A couple of years seems like forever when you are waiting, but its really not that long. The feeling of not being complete is something that some transmen feel while others are perfectly happy with never having the bottom surgery done at all. Its one of those situations where you just have to go from day to day. Get into some lifting or or other stereotypical male activities and that may help you feel less caught in the middle while you wait.
