Hopefully I will be able to start with hrt somewhere around the end of april. Now i know that talking about dosages is not permitted but i have to ask something to get something off my mind.

I have seen some fantastic results in timelines posted online, now i'm a bit concerned since a) most of them are around 20 years old and i am already 27. And b) most of those timelines were from American girls, and apparenly the dosages are way higher in the US than in the Netherlands where I live. Changes in dutch trans people tend to be a lot slower and somewhat less effective.

So im a bit worried.

I don't know about any of that. I'm hopefully starting hrt in same time frame, end/mid April. I'm 36 though. I have significant balding, leathery skin and a muscular upper body. Even if much does not change I will be happy with what does. I have seen some amazing transitions of women who started older than me, more buff and balder. The amazing part of their videos? They start out looking so sad and distant but by the end they are so happy and present! We all have our hurdles and the grass is always greener, I'm just thrilled to be finally doing this! Even if I end up the muscly woman in the hat/scarf...

The doses are going to very based on the rules in your country, the doctor that is prescribing them and of course you most of all. Obviously I can't tell you what doses I'm on, but I will say that they are very low yet my estradiol number a couple of weeks ago was 249 and 25 on the testosterone. I wouldn't worry to much about the doses as long as your getting the desired results. As always a persons mileage will very. Hormones like with everything else in our transitions is a marathon and not a sprint. It takes time. Remember CIS girls spend several years gaining their breasts and other features that result from puberty. The idea is to have you on the lowest doses to achieve the desired results which in most cases is are your hormones levels at the levels the doctors wants to see them at. I also highly recommend you take your concerns up with the doctor in regards to the hormones they maybe able to explain why that is the case in regards to what you have seen from timelines online. Good luck and hugs
