I'm sure you will get along fine here. Welcome to the forum.
Have you transitioned? If so, have it made legal. Legal name change etc. and then apply at either the same college or a different one and don't tell anyone you are a transgender. Usually colleges, unless they are small, have so many people that they won't remember you. On a big campus, with classes of sixty and over, the chances of being noticed are slim.
College is certainly a worthwhile endeavor, and there is no reason why you should have to deny yourself a good education.
