If you want to get some real attention on this issue, consider joining the Twitter #WeJustNeedToPee campaign.

Just go into a bathroom that doesn't match your gender expression (get help from a friend of the opposite presentation if needed), take a selfie with something in the background that confirms where you are (see images below), and Tweet it with the hashtag #WeJustNeedToPee.

If you want to protect your privacy, look down or crop to hide your face.

Seriously, this is trending big now. Have some fun and make a point!

What I would do to prove the point is take a group of several dozen people before these state legislatures in question, present them one by one, and take a poll as to which bathroom each of them belongs in.   I would also rig the selection of people to ensure that the lawmakers got most or all of them wrong, and have them compare notes at the end, just to show that nobody's anwers even come close to matching another's.

I'd make sure to have ciswomen that are very tall or bodybuilders, butch lesbians, various transpeople, convincing drag queens, intersex people, genderqueer people, CAIS, XXY, and others that aren't easy (or are they?  >:-)) to pigeonhole.

After they're done making jackasses of themselves, maybe they'd see the errors of their ways.

If just a small percentage of the active members on this forum join the #WeJustNeedToPee campaign, we can have a real impact. And a good time doing it.  >:-)

Maybe I should go first. I'll try it in the next couple of days...
