To members,

Please do a site search before you post a new topic. There is a large amount of topics in the same subject matters being added to the site in there own topic headers.

Site has a search feature and should be used before you add anything that holds a non personal specific topic.

Everyone has a right to make a topic but it should be done in topics at already exist with-in the last month or so.

If you have questions on any topic reach out to any staff member and they can assist you.

Thank you,

Mrs Izzy

I would just add that where you search from is important. The software searches the topic, board, or category you're currently in. If you enter the word hormones into the search window on this page, it will show you where I used it right here. If you click the Forums button at the top of the page and do the same search from the Index page, you get a plethora of search results. I hope this helps.

I have never had much luck with the regular search. I ALWAYS use the advanced search.

regular search never turns up what I'm looking for either.  Not even if on the right board with and exact title.

What devlyn said.

I always search from the Home category area and use the top search window over the search category area.

My advice... go to google and type in the word/topic you are searching for followed by susans.org and you will get an incredibly accurate result from any public part of the site.

I've used this method to find plenty of things.

Google won't find things in the private sections of the site, though. Your move.

Google

your search site:susans.org

To make it look for a specific term use

"your search" site:susans.org

to exclude a term do

"your search" -"bad term" site:susans.org
