So my mom and little sister decided to go shopping and they invited me along. Normally I pass but my boyfriend was at work and I needed some new things anyways. I'm graduating soon so that means job interviews again. But my old clothes won't do any more, so the dress hunt was on. I think we went to Macy's first but they all kind if look the same inside. Didn't find much. An okay pair of pants but they were cheap enough that not being perfect was okay. Then I found a long dress that actually looked kind of nice. Walked out of the door spending almost 65 dollars. How the hell did that happen...On to store two, this one was Ross....I remembered that one. Got two bras and THREE more dresses. In lucky if I can find one that I like. So I spent more money, my mom got me one but I just couldn't out then back, I so rarely find dresses I like. Anyways I thought I'd share my dress story. And some pics.

Apparently I can't upload them from my phone, so I'll have to post them the long way. Sorry for the sub par quality, they weren't great pictures, just wanted something to show people =P

I love the first one the most.

The second one I have one similar. My wife thinks it's too short. :\

Awesome selection, I think they all have their place, you have to have a wide enough selection to cover most occasions but the first one is still my favourite

They all look gorgeous and you're beautiful, my favorites are the 2nd and 4th dresses.

Its interesting to see which ones people favor, one of my friends liked the solid black one but my boyfriend seems to like the black and blue (though he talks about the last one the most). Still, It was worth the money and they do cover a nice selection. I was just really happy because when I first tried dresses on I just got kind of sad because I felt like they made my shoulders look huge and I looked like a man in a dress. I hated that. I'm not sure if my view of myself is better, the dresses are nicer or if maybe hormones affected my figure more then I realized but I was very surprise. Thanks for the compliments and letting me share my find. ^_^ now I just have to decide what to wear to graduation. I went from no options to too many. =P

I use an app called "my stylist" which takes your measurements and recommends clothes for your body shape. It has been quite good actually and the stylist who runs it is Cristina Holm.

However you have to buy the advice for various clothes as in app purchases so it gets expensive... But I got some iTunes gift cards cheap so it worked out for me.

They all look great. Be forewarned though, once you get the shopping bug and buying pretty things, you'll have a hard time stopping... I hope you don't get addicted to creating the perfect outfit each day like I am. I like the second one the best btw

Isn't that the truth.  I think I have yet to repeat wear a dress to my therapist.  All are very pretty dresses.  Good job finding those three at Ross.

I have that same feeling too but I've learned to dress my shape and it's really not that hard. Plus my shoulders are melting away quite quickly now.

I love the first the most because the length and the cut takes emphasis away from your shoulders and makes everything look more or less well proportioned. You look quite gorgeous in the rest still but that was the reason for the first.
