Alright, so I did it! I finally shaved my legs!! And ooooh man do the feel GREAT!!! Hehe, sorry this is kind of a stupid post, but I had to share it with someone, since I have yet to come out of the closet...And have noone else to share with how great I feel about it.

I'm begining to worry it's gonna be kinda hard to hide, although I only live with my dad...I really wanna tell him about myself, I just don't have the guts  >:(

Part of me wants to have him catch me, the other part just wants to sit down and have a "long talk" with him...I dk...Everytime I think about it it scares me SOOOO much. Grr!

But anyways, for the first time in my life (well since I was probably 8) I have SMOOTH legs! And boy do they feel amazing! :)

Anyways, sorry for the stupid post, like I said I just had to share with someone about how good I feel right now.

Thanks for listening/reading!

cool...hide in plain sight.

I once shaved my ankles so the sports tape I need to put on them wouldn't rip out the hair.  I suppose if I'd gotten sloppy trying to even it out, I might end up with completely shaved legs before it was over.  ;)

Ok that's far fetched, but there's number of reasons guys shave their legs these days, like a dare or something.   ;D

It's been over a year since I shaved my legs for the first time, and I still remember how great it felt.

Congrats on the big step.

Word of warning...I liked it so much, the next thing I knew I had shaved my arms and chest too.  Now, I shave everywhere except the top of my head.  The very thought of body hair creeps me out now.

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

I love the feel of smooth skin.  Currently I am having laser treatments on my legs, toes and underarms.  It may be my imagination, but it seems the treated areas are softer to the touch.

Why should it scare you to be "caught"? Lots of men, including many athletes keep hair off their bodies and not just their legs, such as cyclists, track/field, runners (all types), basketball, football, ballet dancers, etc., because it makes it easier for trainiers and massage therapists to work on them. It's a matter of fact of being an athlete, and nothing sexist, just reality.

Long before I started my transistioned I kept my legs hairless (switched to epilators) along with most of my body (being a jogger and hiker). It made my clothes fit better, less body odor, and cooler in the summer. No one ever commented and once people got used to seeing me, it was normal.

I already shave my chest, and armpits and stomach..Have since I started growing hair on them, just because it grossed me out. Noone ever said anything about that, after I told them my reasons. Well the chest and stomach, they're just GROSS! And the armpits, along with being discusting...Just trap nasty body oder, which is also gross.

Since I'm not an athlete of any kind right now, and everyone I know know's this...It's hard to use that excuse..The excuse of being much cooler is always one to use, seeing as how it does keep me MUCH cooler. It's not really an excuse. Personally I just LOVE the feeling, and highly doubt I'll ever let hair grow on them again.

Being as how I NEVER wear shorts...It shouldn't be tooo hard to keep it unoticed. Other than my dad, who I'm sure will find it weird the first time he see's them..

But this will be coming from the same guy that know's I wear girls jeans, and boots. Why he hasn't ever said anything about it....I have no clue...You'd think he'd kinda wonder? Or ask me questions...Which would ultimately lead to me being able to tell him about myself! But he never has..grr!

Hehe, Ohhh well, EVENTUALLY I will build up the courage to just blurt it out! ( hopefully!) :)

Lots of Non-TG guys wear girls jeans these days so that may just not be that odd to him that you do.  That and parents have the odd ability at times to be oblivious to the most obvious things about their children.

A smooth hairless body is a great pleasure. I don't shave anywhere on my body--I hate when it grows back. And it grows back very soon. Instead, I wax my entire body with sugar. The smoothness is that much smoother, and it stays smooth a lot longer. The only exception was I shaved my chest for the laser. You can't wax or tweeze if you're going to get laser. I would love to get my whole body lasered but that's too expensive.
Here's what I find about compromise--
don't do it if it hurts inside,
'cause either way you're screwed,
eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride
