After last shifts major boo boo (I overpaid someone $1500 ouch), I really don't want to be here today. But my confidence will never come back unless I actually get back behind the counter and start again.

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Thanks.  I just need to think 'You will be able to claim some of it back on tax' (only way I'll be able to sleep). But I'm now going to be very jittery with the money again for awhile.

I don't think I could deal with a job where I could make that kind of mistake and have to repay it. How long do they give you to pay it back?

Depends on the venue and the boss themselves. He wasn't able to cover it this week, so I had until Sunday to pay the money back. My emergency fund took a pounding lately.

Happy Spring!
Three inches of mother-effin' snow, thank you very much!

80 degrees and sunny in Los Angeles...

I'm thinking I'm having a vuja day.  I've totally had this entire day before.

80° and sunny in Los Angeles, of course you've had that day before. I spent July and half of August in Santa Monica in 1970. I probably had that day at least 30 times myself. Tell me again why I'm living in New York state? I personally have no idea.

Pro tip: when you make coffee, make sure you have enough milk for it.

Good thing I still have energy drink left from yesterday.

It seems as if a lot of threads end when I post to them. This has got to be happening to everyone, right?

Threads end for various reasons, most notably popular threads end when it's time to start a new one after so many posts

Haven't noted you as a particular problem or reason for any threads ending though

Understandable, we all go through a plethora of various feelings and emotions while upon our individual journeys  :)

There are times I feel ignored, disregarded or even crapped on and disrespected, but I just do my best to keep a positive outlook and endeavor to help others to the best of my abilities and be appreciative and thankful for the few nice occurrences in life

I used to get that feeling all the time when I used other forum sites. Whenever I'd post, no matter how popular the thread, it seemed to dry up almost instantly. So I feel you on that. :( But it's like V M said, threads end for a lot of reasons. It's more than likely you've just got some bad timing.
I don't know what I'm doing.
