I've been on testosterone for a little over 4 years. I haven't had any surgery and I'm pretty happy with where I am. Do I want more changes to happen? Yes, and I know more will happen (some body fat redistribution, and more facial hair). I am not happy with the hairloss on my head or my high cholesterol and blood pressure. I have done work on changing my diet and would like to avoid more medication. High cholesterol and blood pressure runs in my family, so I know eventually I will have to go on medication.

I've lowered my dosage which may have helped with my cholesterol and blood pressure (although not significantly). I'm considering switching to patches now. I still hate doing my injections and think patches might be able to provide me with a lower "management" dose. I just don't know of any guys that went from shots to patches after long term use.

Are patches enough to prevent periods from coming back? That's really my main concern.
