I'm using a "Freshette"  for standing urination, and its pretty good and easy to learn. The one downside is that the cup against the body is hard and a little uncomfortable. Since I've had some bottom surgery, (Phalloplasty, silicone testes, but the scrotums are not connected), the device has to be pushed against my skin which is the uncomfortable part. Its also difficult to stuff it and its package in my pocket if I want to use it in the men's room.

I wondered if any guys had tried and liked a form of standing device that was not quite so hard, and maybe a bit more realistic looking? The realism isn't as important. I thought a less rigid version would be both more comfortable as well as easier to carry.

For a separate device I like the Sneekee. It fits very well in a pocket (providing it's shaken off) and folds up. It can't really even be seen in a pocket. It's easy to use providing a few basic rules.  I don't find it uncomfortable, but it is not soft.

sam, since you have had a phalloplasty I assume without urethra length and testes implants, you must need a device that will somehow will fit up in there and not leak yet not poke any any your new parts down there.  I don't really know of any device that I have heard of or seen that would work.

I'm guessing no vaginectomy or anything which might move the urethra in some way?
You could google image for stand to pee device and female urinary device and see if something might meet your needs. It is going to be a bit harder to find perhaps, given the situation.

Something like a Go Girl (or as we like to say He Whiz) is soft silicone, but that has problems in misshaping and you need a very light touch.

The pstyle is nice and comfortable but very large. It's hard plastic but not weird edges. NOt sure how to carry this unless you wear cargo pants or always use a messenger bag.

Medicine spoon! It was the first stand to pee device I ever made/used, and it's really the only thing I feel comfortable using. It's discreet, easily fits in a pocket, and easy to fit in your hand and wash at the sink if there are other people around.

Sam this is probably not what you want to hear. Your best choice might be to just sit to pee.  There is nothing wrong with a man sitting and nobody will really notice or pay attention.  I stood for many years as I was taught that was the thing to do.  However, I still present as male and have sat full time for several years now and find it to be a more pleasant experience. Nobody except for my wife is aware of me always sitting and she has never commented (either positively or negatively) about me sitting. I have never asked her, "What do you think about me only sitting to pee?" and only assume that she finds it to be acceptable.

I believe it's the ideal device IF you are able to use it. Not everybody is.
But it has lots of advantages.

The divice I have does allow for standing urination which has always been important to me. I'll admit that learning had its leakages because I didn't get it in the right place.

Unfortunatly, I never had my scrotum(s) made into one. Each labia majoris has one implant. At the time, I was told not to get a hookup, they were more dangerous and leaked often. The vagina was unable to be closed, and having discharge when turned on is just a reminder of that. If I had the money, I think I would go all the way with the hookup, making the two halves of scrotum into one and having it look real like the pictures I have seen online.  Unforutnately, I don't and never will. I try not to think about it. The penis is just what it looks like, a rolled piece of skin with a hollow center in case I wanted a hook up. I should be glad with what I have, and most of the time I really am, but i just want to look and feel like a man down there.

I appreciate the help guys. I know that some people are happy with just HRT, and there is nothing wrong with that. For me I just feel like had I waited, the ability to  stand naturally while taking a whiz and not having that hole in my perineum might have been possible. I guess you get as much as you can or want and have to accept the imperfections.

sam, I am with you all the way wanting to stand to pee easily.  Lengthening the urethra through the penis is becoming a lot more reliable in the last couple of years, seems the dr are having much better success. Since you already have a hole through the length of your penis the hookup surgery would not be as involved for you.  I can see have leakage when you are turned on would be a bummer. Have you since a dr about a hookup surgery and combining your scrotum into one?

I don't have the urethral hookup, but I do have testicular implants. The scrotum was just never combined into one. That make it challenging.

aleon, yeah, the one I have now is hard and a bit uncomfortable as well as hard to conceal in your pocket. i'll have to try some others.

mm, I'd love to have those surgeries, but I guess you could say i'm on the negative side of poverty. I've thought about getting the two halves of my scrotum combined, but that is too expensive in itself. If I had it all to do again, I would start with a phalloplasty from my side, have one scrotal sac with the skin stretched out more and a urethral hookup. Sometimes you just can't go back though, and i am grateful for what I do have. It would be nice to have more girth and firmness to what I have, but there again, cost.
