Serena

Hello I decided to start this topic to ask for tips for girls, first question: for how long should you wear the corset? Is it normal that I can't normally breathe? Is it that I'm not used to one? It's nothing too bad, I guess especially as time progresses...

I think I might post picture here of before and after or video of how my waist training will work on my youtube channel!

No doubt you've read the risks of corset training.
I hadn't been aware of what corset training was, but like anything, make sure you know what you're doing.

It sorta freaks me out when I read about the potential dangers of shifting organs.

its not dangerous...that's a big myth...lots of info on youtube mostly...I did it and went from 28 to 26 inches in a month or less... wear it as much as you can for at least an hour at a time...I slept in mine a little looser and that really worked...my waist is now one of my best features and I look pretty hour glassish minus my small boobs... I highly recommend it...but get a good quality STEEL BONED corset...not a waist cincher thing...

on a serious note though waist training and lots of squats did way more for my figure than a year of hrt..

Hi Anna, would you be up for sharing your squats routine? I don't know much about exercises like that!

well currently I do three sets of 15 with like I think fifteen pound weights every two days...started with no weight then kept increasing it..i also did excercises for the muscles on the hips and sides of butt too and my butt and hip circumference went from 37 to 39 inches...I think I need at least 40 though to really get the look I want

I'm trying to get to at least 26 from 28 but if I was about to get 24 or so it would be better

I'm starting with a 28 inches waist and 34 inches hips, but I just started hrt as well only 1 month in.

I will do some exercise as well, but it's not like I feel overweight or something like that, maybe a little bit, but I will diet too anyway. it's more that I want to get a smaller waist and underbust.

My question was how long should I use the corset during the day... Are you supposed to wear it all the times? I mean I feel like the more I wore it yesterday the less I felt discomfort, but again it was the first day, and I used it only for an hour because I started really late and I had to go to sleep, I didn't know you could sleep with it, but I am kind of afraid of sleeping with the corset, plus I don't think it's really comfortable to sleep with the corset.

That seriously made me laugh. Still am. Brilliant.

I think I'll give the squat thing a try. I currently have 38 in hips and would like them bigger. I'll look into safe corset use also.

I am wearing it today and I almost don't even feel it anymore, I think it's more of getting use to it feeling. Also I just measured myself today and my hips are 36 so I actually did gain weight, last time I did measure I was 33 I didn't even notice, besides pants being a little tighter. I don't think it's hrt, it's probably just eating more lately XD

I waist train as well and the biggest source of information is Lucy's corsetry. I don't know site policy of posting links but shes the first thing that comes up when you google her or search her vids on youtube. Shes really great with in depth analysis of all the risks.

I may think about it after my VFS. Don't want to risk anything before the surgery.
