ok so I am freaking out. I am having hot flashes in my inner thigh just above the knee on my left leg. it doesn't look red. its not swollen. there is no pain. its just warm. do you think this is a blood clot. please note I don't have diabetes and my family doesn't have a history of heart disease. I am thin and active. so aside from hrt, I really don't have that many risk factors.

Do you inject or take pills.  If you Inject, it could be some kind of reaction.  I would go to the hospital to have it checked out.  If you haven't had anything like this happen before, its better to be safe than sorry.

I took pills this morning. does blood pressure affect chances of getting a blood clot because I know my blood pressure is 100/80. also I gave blood yesterday. I don't know if that would do anything

From what I understand, most blood clots will have some swelling or pain, but if there is any doubt, I would get it checked out.  Also, if there is any discoloration, that could be an indicator as well.
