Pink bouquets honour gay soldiers

OTTAWA -- There was a touch of pink in the mountain of red wreaths yesterday paying special tribute to gay soldiers who fought for freedom.

Fashioned in pink triangles with rose-coloured carnations in lieu of poppies, the memorials were placed at the National War Memorial by a small group of Canadian youth.
