I just wanted to put this out there as an FYI for people taking finasteride.

A month or so ago I started on finasteride to see if it would clear my oily skin issues that I've been having post op. I didn't really notice a change in that, but what I did notice was that my lower legs and calves had become really swollen and felt a tremendous pressure in them.

Starting finasteride had been the only change in my HRT as well as anything that I've put in my body in probably a year. I googled finasteride and swelling legs, and what do you know a ton of results pop up in regards to peripheral edema while on finasteride.

Thanks for the warning, I've been on the max dose of Finasteride for about 8 months but haven't seen this myself.  Then again I'm on Spiro, which might prevent this sort of thing as it removes excess fluid?

That's a really good thought! It seems like a rare side effect, I don't think it's even listed in most places, you have to hunt for it, perhaps it's just lucky me...
