Is it usual for someone who is assigned female at birth to find white substance around the clitoris? This has been a constant thing for me since puberty.

I will admit, I have no idea what male ejaculation looks like.

I'm getting closer to meeting with a doctor to discuss HRT and I don't know if I should expect this to stop, continue, or increase if I go on T?

If anything, male ejaculation (when not under T-blockers) feels slimy to the touch due to the sperm in it, which is how my teacher at elementary school taught boys to know when it first happened :-X

I don't think anyone here would be able to tell you for sure if this is related in any way to ejaculation or not, as intersex bodies vary immensely in anatomy. It could be related to the liquid that's used as a medium and produced by the prostate gland in cis men, but that's supposed to be released by the urethra, and only when sexually stimulated... so I really have no idea. You'd have to ask your doctors and have said white substance analyzed for details, one could probably tell by cell composition and such.

Using non-intersex people's body as reference can only go so far, and all intersex bodies vary greatly in anamoty, as I mentioned earlier.

No idea whether it'd lower, stay the same or increase with T either.
Sorry if I wasn't much help, but that's really a pretty technical question...

Male ejaculate is off white and for lack of better words, the consistency of watery (liquid) hand soap. It's possible to be buildup of skin tissue cells (amongst other things) that may also be found under the foreskin of males who don't clean themselves regularly. It probably isn't anything but a culture would be good to make sure it's not yeast (which there is higher chance of problems on T vaginally).

Thanks for the help and I feel this is very awkward thing to ask about. Some of the substance seems to be like the smegma but some of it seems clearish and more like the description of ejaculation. I'm guessing I should get them both tested?

Yeah, it'd be best to have them both checked to be sure.

I am afab, and also get the white stuff around the clitoris and in other skin folds down there. There is more of it if I'm active/sweaty, and if I don't wash it regularly, it gets itchy. As far as I understand it is similar to smegma, mostly dead skin cells and sweat combined. I did some research on other sites with discussions of cis-females and it appeared to be a fairly normal thing so I didn't pursue it medically. The amount seemed to vary a lot person to person, with some having a significant amount and some not even noticing it normally. The clear fluid is likely cervical secretions. Normal discharges can vary a lot. In general though, if it's itchy, smells bad, or is a sudden change, you should get it checked out.
