Darn, I was about to say my hair, too...

Growing it out after a lifetime of keeping it short, brushing it, playing with it... Just feeling it there against my skin, it sometimes gives me such a giddy girly feeling. :)

...a good hair day, and what's even better than that...good 2nd day hair

My hair is more of a perfectionist chore and I hate it. ;D

For me the silly signal to excitement ratio is a lot higher with this!

Warm smiles from female strangers that remind me I'm now part of a sisterhood.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

^^ Hey that's awesome suzi! Unfortunately I don't get any looks from women. My metropolitan look is too ordinary. =\ There's a lot of competition out there...!

But maybe I should look at this way. "No news is Good News?"

I can go along with that! ;D

Finally getting my eyeliner right. Then later on, -really- getting it right.

Shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes and probably shoes.
Almost forgot... Shoes...

I have 34 pairs and that's not nearly enough!
Not counting those I thrown away during purges T_T

Why would women smile at each other? Lord. Lol

Absolutely this!  It's one of my favorite things about being a woman.

OMG yes!  When this happened I was squeeing like a teenager.  :)  I have very unique eyes so YouTube videos really didn't help me very much for them.  I had to come up with a new technique using eyeliner to make them look right.

^^ Getting one of these in the mail. Silly but OMG!

Seriously? I have a ton of them... They just can't stop sending!

kohls on the other hand... They do send me gift cards from time to time. I absolutely get giddy when I get one.

My moment is when I buy something a size I think is too small and it actually fits purrfect.

All of the above

Acceptance - being out and about and and living my life and getting signals that things are finally right, just like Suzi's warm smiles shes been getting.

Noticing that people that knew you before transition are acting and relating to you in an entirely new way now, and some of the guys are even getting a little bit flirty too   :-*

This week finally having my hair grow out enough to ditch the wig (ahhhh.......) and then realizing that getting ready in the morning just had an hour tacked on while I fumble around trying to figure out what to do with my own hair (eeekkk!).

Finally getting to relate to the world in the way that comes natural to me without the stress and pressure of having to pretend to be someone else.

Shopping trips to 100% female spaces like Sephora and fitting right in with the other women. Getting something new to try there ranks high on the list too.

Learning female customs and ways, and gaining an understanding more and more of why women do what they do (things I never "got" before).

Getting new shoes and clothes!  :)

Every morning after putting on makeup and getting the rest of my outfit together. I like looking in the mirror and seeing a sexy girl looking back.

Eva Marie,

Everything you have said below - I absolutely agree with.
I was at Victoria Secret the other day looking for a few pairs of undergarments and I was just scavenging for stuff along with tons of cis women and I just blended right in. No stares or even second glances were given.

I just smiled all the way, paid for my stuff and out the door.

April, I have done that a few times already, but the first time the lady in front of me at the register had a coupon she wasn't using and even offered it up that what my Ahhh moment. I totally forgot about that tell you mentioned Victoria's Secret.

When I'm surrounded by friends at the pool hall, I adore all the hunky guys (and the dirty old men), and the cute women too, who can't keep themselves from touching me, hugging me, and stroking my hair.  (I am a touchy/feely kinda girl, and the word is definitely out in the Portland pool community.)

Also, when complete strangers randomly approach me here and there to ask if they can see my tattoos, stroking my soft, muscular arms and admiring the incredible detail.

I am touchable and I love it!
