The most expensive thing in my wardrobe is my green Irish walking cape. It cost 400 dollars from Amazon.

I have a nice Maxi dress I got for 30, and I try not to spend more than 20 on a single pair of pants. What kills me isn't the single price, its finding too many things I like and not wanting to take them back >_<

I just suddenly realized I need some red bottomed platform heels in my life and I am going to make it a point to own them! Not the $800 version though. Back on topic, I started out going to second hand shops and getting skinny jeans. Now when places Old Navy or TJ Maxx have sales, I go there. I pay anywhere between $16-$34 for jeans. Dresses I don't have many of, my most expensive is maybe $30.

What I'd really like to get besides the dress is a pair of zipper in the back skinny jeans, but I think hell might freeze over before I will to put the $178 as advertised down.

The most expensive one I have that was paid for at full retail price was a sixty dollar black keyhole dress a friend bought for me as a gift. It's probably still my favorite dress. I'm just waiting for my boobies to get a big bigger (I hope) and an appropriate occasion to wear it out. Probably my most expensive dress had I bought it new was from Cache that I found new with tags in a thrift store for thirty dollars.

My jeans... are all from Hollister but I only buy them on sale.

By far my most expensive item of clothing of any kind are my British semi-custom leather boots. Finding boots that would fit my size ten feet and 11 3/4" calf circumference was no small feat. Nothing is ever perfect though, the ankle is a bit wide.

I'm trying to scan through my head what's the most expensive. I've gotten a lot of High Quality stuff for...$0, free y'know xD? But for all the free, months before HRT buy some really nice stuff from different places. Bras from The Bay, tops and shorts from Forever 21, my jeans I get from Old Navy because I love their brand to death. I wear a Sweetheart Skinny =D I believe one of the dresses in my wardrobe is $50-$60, and one $75. But I definitely didn't pay those prices. I've probably spent more on expensive designer bras than my dresses or jeans sadly. Worse none of them fit anymore, rapid growth spurt ahoy =/ (Dishing out like up to $60+ for a set of bras and growing them out no matter how positive, just isn't nice for my wallet)

I'm a shoppaholic, and really bad with self control. My most expensive is a Hand Crocheted Cardigan that was $595

I've paid more for a pair of jeans than a friend paid for a car, they did feel like tracksuit (sweat) pants and made my butt look awesome.

While it's not a dress, my Chanel suit is probably the most expensive item in my wardrobe. I really need a nice pair of Salvatore Ferragamo heels to go with it.

Wear them. If you want that 600$ dress. Go for it. If you think you can't afford it. Find a way. You have an entire lifetime to build your wardrobe. Make it yours.

With you on this one Rotika, if I like it, I buy it, just one of my traits, I think I'll be dangerous when I go FT... I guess you only live once! Or twice in our case, never used to be like this... Only bought very occasionally, but still did not worry about price, within reason
