After reading all of the techniques in Wiki as well as in this thread it occurs to me that none are close to the method that works well for me, although Sara came close mentioning the panty liners. My method works so well that I can wear a bikini, although only in the backyard for a tan. I'm much beyond the years for wearing one at the beach. Nor do I use the hotdog and bun as it is far too uncomfortable let alone painful removing the tape, and unnecessary. My method is the result of years of trial and error (some painful errors).
Two panty liners will be put in place in a narrowed X fashion so that there is no gap between the X at the ends. The narrow part of the X goes where the narrowest part of the bikini bottom is narrowest. This way all of the sensitive areas are protected from the nasty duct tape.
Needed:
Two panty liners.
Four short duct tapes @ 2.5 inches.
Three long duct tapes @ 8 inches.
Prep: Remove the protective strips from the liners and place a short piece of duct tape on each end. The duct tape goes on the nop-sticky side of the liner so that you end up with the sticky side of both tape and liner on the same side.
Step 1: While holding everything tucked and in place, starting from the front put one taped end of a taped pany liner just above the genitles. Keeping it tight bring it over the genitles and tape at the back. Do the same with the second taped liner. Note that both should be offset in the narrowed X explained above.
Step 2: Put a long piece of duct tape over each of the taped liners.
Step 3: Place the remaining long duct tape in the center. It is this last piece of tape that will flatten any remaining center bulge which always seems to be present.
Note: If you plan to wear a bikini it may take some trial and error to get the edges positioned just right, so that they don't peek out causing an embarassing situation.
Now you can not only wear any outfit with confidence including a swimsuit, but you don't have to go through agony when removing the tuck because none of the duct tape is over sensitive areas. It's bad enough removing it from lesser sensitive skin. The reason for keeping the sticky side of the liners towards the skin is that they do a very good job of keeping things from slipping out of place, and they are not sticky enough to cause even the slightest discomfort in removal.
This works so well that my neighbor came over one day while I was sunbathing in the backyard. She was stunned and asked when I had surgery done.
