HRT mtf body and is metabolism a factor?

Good morning,
I've been desperately searching for some timeline transition photos of mtf bodies, the shape changes and the time taken to get that far.
Understandably I can appreciate why people aren't quick to post pictures of them selves, as no doubt their body image is something most are uncomfortable with.
Please can someone help in maybe detailing a rouge idea of what changes someone can expect and over what period of time... hourglass shape, breast development and the decrease in size of upper body muscle mass.
Also will my metabolism effect it at all? Personally mine is very fast.

Thank you

There are a lot of factors that affect time and level of change, certainly key one is age and your given Endocrine system.... I guess, although see categorically, that metabolism will have an affect on body fat change... However bear in mind that for CIS females  that hormones take a fair few years to build and develop waist, hips and boobs... check out the Tanner scale... even when you hit stage 5 around mid teens, the body shape continues to change till late teens and early twenties.

Some girls here have had fast changes, especially when younger, others, like me the changes, overall have taken much longer, age, type of hormone delivery methods and family genes etc... play a part.

As far as body mass at the top end goes, this does depend on your body structure and how long T has been playing around with our delicate bodies...

Can't give you specifics, but hope it helps ????

I can only give personal feedback based on experience. I am 37 atm, started HRT soon after 35. I always had extremely fast and crazy metabolism - it gradually slowed down within 6-7 months into HRT. Meanwhile, I kept exercising cardio as crazy and did not notice any changes with regard to physical performance (I also did lots of cardio before starting HRT). So, I pretty much started with having very fit shape (for MAAB).
Slowly, I started to notice my butt and hips becoming, ahem... bigger (I always had slightly wider hips than usually accepted for a guy but it never got me into any kind of trouble). So, within the first year I grew myself a booty... and my upper body very slowly lost its bulk. Very very slowly, but I have to admit, that I also had a lot to loose shoulders and arms-wise. After one year, I noticed that I cannot exercise with the same intensity as I used to - I just could not (the lack of that anabolic side-effect of T started to manifest itself), and I was very much plateau-ing around the same weight.
Only now, I am finally starting to understand what my body needs and wants and how much I can push out of it. Changing diet was quite an essential component as well, because I am finally seeing some sort of hour-glass there (at least my hips are wider than ribcage). But getting there will cost extra hundreds of km on treadmill and experiments with different kinds of food (steamed veggies & meat/fish seem to work wonders for me) :).

Thank you for the replys, sorry inforgotmto mention... I'm 24. What sort of changes should I expect in what order?

The aforementioned is still true, however being in your early twenties the changes would be less blocked by T, and your body has not been totally ravaged by T...

Timing and actual changes are not really easily measurable or predictable in timeframes, but feel relaxed in your age being very much on your side.

So my age should still be on my side? I was concerned that I was getting too old for E to have any major effect.

I see all these timelines of people when they are in their teens and they all look so good!

They say every 10 years of T decreases the effectiveness of E's.... of course there are always exceptions!

Yes you are in your first 10 years of full T production, I think I recall reading that its around 15 to 17 that T hits peak and the massive body sculpting digs in as an average marker... but I would take any corrections on that one? So you should reap the rewards of starting young, also remember that some started in their teens, and some had T blockers before that even... At the end of the day your endocrine and genealogy will determine....

Well I don't have photos to share, but I keep a weekly log of my measurements.  Here's a graph:

I was pretty skinny before HRT, so my bust/chest and ribs/under bust were the same.  As soon as HRT started and I began putting on some weight, things started to change for the better, but it's slow and gradual.
