I love this story. It reminds me that people from all walks of life can be trans, which is a little different from my experiences in my transsexual community where most of my sisters (and brothers) tend to be very intelligent (if we weren't talking about trans issues, my trans support group would be some kind of geek club). I'm sorry to say this, but before I read this story, I never considered transition from the viewpoint of someone with an intellectual disability.
