After serious breast pumping over the winter, I now really need the support of a bra full time.

But I do try to be discreet, for example wearing a dark blue bra under a black top or a nude bra under a white tee shirt. I don't really try to hide my bra straps & band under my top, but I don't flaunt them, like wearing a black bra under a tight white sheer blouse. But with summer tops, all bras do become visible!

But looking at other womens' bras, I can't help but criticize. Many have bands which are too loose and so ride up on their backs. Their straps are often too loose and fall from their shoulders. Often their bras are simply too small in the cup.

Even if her bra fits, I often think that I wouldn't wear that bra with that blouse, or that lipstick color!

Some have a more relaxed attitude about such things.. And besides, who are you to judge?

Most mainstream lingerie companies actively promote and encourage inadvisable bra fitting practices such as adding 4-5" to the underbust to obtain the band size, which in turn gives too small a cup.

It's quite frustrating really, especially since my real bra band size (28) is impossible to find anywhere but online and for no less than $70.

I wear a B cup in size 38. Sometimes I'll wear a C cup.

It's all a matter of experimentation for everyone until you find the right fit, like any item of apparel
