My post-surgical garment is in the wash (it has been two weeks, ew lol). So I put on a t-shirt and am going about the house for the first time. It's...interesting. I've done it with my full chest, but obviously it wasn't socially appropriate to go outside without something on my chest to hold it in place. Now, I could go outside like this and it would be OK. Because of my fatness my surgeon opted to leave some manboob there to let it look more natural, and some people may recall me complaining that they seemed too big. They've definitely shrunk some and will continue to shrink over the next few months...but looking at it in the shirt now, I'm quite pleased for the most part. With the garment on it looks strange, because I am too flat for someone with a belly like this. Without the garment, they do look more boobish but it looks as it should for someone of my size, hopefully they shrink a bit more though and I think it will be perfect for where I'm at now.
His incisions were absolutely phenomenal as well. I can't spot the scars even at this stage and I am only 3 weeks post op (they are around the nipple) unless I look very closely. And the bruising is all gone, the only indication that I have had a surgery is that some skin still needs to tighten up but even that is minimal. Honestly given what he had to work with he did a wonderful job and I am pleased. If I lose weight and need a revision in the future he will be my choice again.
