I'm just curios for the Americans, are Brassard's prices in Canadian (I heard they were once, but I don't know if that's actually true or not).
The $1.07 Canadian dollar (vs American dollar) is going up to $1.10 soon and is expected to either be on par or over to the American dollar for a while.
For example, a $1.05 Loonie at US exchange rate would equal $500 US for every $10,000 US. It's not a whole lot, but at the same time, that's an extra $500 bucks.
How do Americans (and even other countries) feel about this. Do you consider other options in North America (Bowers, Meltzer) or maybe over seas somewhere? I'm not sure what everyone's prices are compared to Brassard, and maybe even after the exchange Brassard is a good deal.
I wonder, also, if you have budgeted your money only to find you're going to be paying a few hundred dollars more for surgery, and how does this affect your planned dates, etc.
