Partial MTF transition -- what's possible?

Right now, I'm accepting the label genderfluid... but I was recently out on the town and found myself back in boy, dressed girly... and I was totally comfortable.  The reverse is far from true, and I'm partially writing this to avoiding getting dressed for work. :'(

On the other hand, when I'm in girl mode, I don't object in the least bit to having a penis, and still enjoy using it.  I guess "ladyboy" is a gender in thailand... I think I want that for me: I want a female body with a functional penis.  I'd rather not have any amount of surgery, except an orchiectomy in about a year (still hoping to breed).  Is this possible with HRT?  I've heard that HRT makes it impossible to get it up / kills libido and I don't want that.

hrt will give you boobs, soft skin, the works. however, you can choose to stop whenever you reach a desirable state, though make absolutely sure to talk to both your therapist and doctor and also make absolutely sure thats what you want. i know many who took hormones than stopped after reaching a desirable state. its all up to you

*squeee!*  :D Okay, that makes me realy happy.  Now I've gotta wait for a while and see if boy mode comes back, and find out what he thinks about all this.

... and drugs like Viagra and Cialis do wonders for functionality on HRT.

Yeah, that's a relief.  Right after my *squee!*, I did some more research and found that orchi often kills drive & function.  :/  I figure... even if I don't transition, viagra would be in my future anyway (if at a later age).

I've been on hormones for just over 4 years now and have had no issues with function worth mentioning.

If you are on HRT for any length of time your sperm count will be very low. It is recommended to store sperm before HRT.

I have not had an orchi but my T is below 20 ng/dl. I can still function.

I don't believe there is a such thing as a "partial transition".  You just do what you have to do in order to best align your body with your mind and stop the process when you feel comfortable with yourself.   Most people who suffer from gender dysphoria do not end up getting bottom surgery in the end, and I do not see anything "partial" about anyone who is perfectly happy being a non-op.  If you've taken your transition as far as you wish to, you are fully transitioned.

I believe that erection has more to do with blood circulation than level of testosterone. I'm post-op (SRS), have very low levels of T and when aroused, feel engorged down there. If there were a penis there, there would have been an erection, for sure!
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I'm a happy non-op, hormones only girl and I consider my transition done. Transition needs only to be the bits you need to do to feel good.

Sorry, have been busy for awhile and couldn't do any posts.
That's interesting, my T levels are 10 ng/dl and haven't even started Hrt yet.
My Dr said that they will want my T to be around 2  ng/dl when on Estradiol.

I know that I won't transition fully. I do hope to have my penis and testicles shrink over time as my hormones do their job.
I do so LOVE my boobs and my body and my body is meant for men to have their way with. Although I have not been with a guy in almost 20 years now.

I think I most certainly would love to get into an open relationship with a woman who can accept my 2 sides.

I am 49 now and really want this change but am not comfortable yet to do any kind of transitioning. I believe that
I can do what ever I want and certainly don't fall into any kind of cookie cutter format.

WHAT EVER makes me HAPPY is WHAT I AM GOING TO DO!!!

Luv Ginger....
