Does green tea effect testosterone levels?

I posted last night asking if there were any foods that lower testosterone, and a suggestion I got was spearmint tea, so today I bought two boxes of tea with 20 bags each, but it's not just spearmint tea, it's a blend that also has green tea leaves, I've been looking around the internet to see if green tea effects testosterone levels, and some people say it lowers them, but others say it raises them!

I don't think it'll raise my testosterone because of the spearmint, but if green tea raises it, than the spearmint probably won't lower it either, the two will probably cancel each other out, but does it raise your testosterone?

I was told by the person who suggested spearmint to me that they were drinking six cups per day, so I bought as much as I did so I wouldn't have to buy more in just a few days, I didn't even think about what the green tea might do, I was looking for plain spearmint tea, but this blend was the closest I could find, if green tea raises testosterone than I've wasted my money, so does it?

Thank you for your time.

Hormone Level
"The direct lowering of testosterone levels may be a side effect of green tea, according to one study. The Department of Physiology and Pharmacology in Brazil's Federal University specifically investigated the effect of green tea on testosterone production. They found that high levels of green tea inhibited the amount of testosterone hormone in rodents. Researchers were also able to discover that the effects could be reversed if the green tea concentration was lowered."

Probably acts differently for everyone but I would give the tea you bought a try. I think working out is what may raise your T levels after drinking green tea, not the tea itself.

I've drunk green tea for quite some time. I can't say it's had any effect either way tbh.

Prior to seeing an endo I spent several months drinking spearmint twice daily, when I did get to see the Endo my testosterone had not been reduced at all.

The only way you're going to effectively reduce testosterone is with an anti androgen. They found that certain teas have an anti androgenic effect on post menopausal women but the level of testosterone in their bodies is pretty minimal compared to that being produced by a male body.

Spearmint tea may help old genetic ladies to a certain degree but it's really not going to do much for a trans woman who still has her testicles intact. Ditto green tea (which I still drink 'cos I love it) has no significant effect either way.

I've heard that soy has some kind of effect like that... I'm not sure if it's true...? I know that I have had increased dysphoria involving my chest when consuming soy milk on a regular basis.
