There really isn't a right or wrong here. Some people are happy passing without ever doing anything, while others aren't comfortable unless they have all the body parts corrected that they can. What do you feel when you look at yourself in the mirror? Do you avoid the mirror after a shower, or are you ok with it?
I don't think you should have to wait to transition until you are at the point where you feel like you are going to either have a breakdown or worse before starting the process. If you feel that transitioning or even just HRT is something that would make you more functional in life, you shouldn't have to let the emotional stress and pain of holding back get worse.
Do you think one of the reasons you are an introvert is because you aren't comfortable with your body, or is it just part of your personality? That one can be hard to answer sometimes.
It sounds like you are a woman whether you transition or not. As far as risks, both socially and physically, the social part is something you will have to decide, and the physical part is something that should be gone over with a physician or endocrinologist who can give you the latest information surrounding both hormones and surgery.
I'm glad you decided to come to this forum though. If nothing else, you know that you are not alone in your feelings and transgenders are like everyone else. We hold jobs, have relationships, help others and aren't just a bunch of perverts like some of society seems to think. Fortunately, people are getting more accepting as far as that goes.
