I am from Hanoi, Vietnam. I'm FTM and have been trying to search for support groups for LGBTQ in my area but to no avail.
I need to learn more about the whole transitioning process, meet similar people, get support etc. What do you think I can do?

I know Vietnam can be quite difficult to transition in and to get medical help. It may be a case of trying to get to a more TG accepting country. I have no idea of how difficult that may be but I do know it can depend upon your job prospects and qualifications.
Thailand may be your closest Asian country where ready acceptance is available. China, in particular Shanghai, has good facilities for medical transition at least for MtF, not sure about FtM though. Hong Kong is another alternative. If you can get to Australia or New Zealand and gain permanent residency you would be covered by the health insurance but not as a visitor or on a temporary visa.

I had this coming, that in my own country finding help for Transgenders may be proven impossible.
You are right, I will keep these places in mind, though money and the outcomes altogether is an issue.
It would ideal to discuss this with a professional and/or support group if possible, because as you may know, Asia and my country in particular is much less accepting and ignorant of transgenders. And there is also the paperwork which needs to be changed along with my gender...
