I recently told my biological father that I'm trans, he didn't care(didn't even sound fazed.) but said that he would always think of me as my birth name so on and so forth. The thing is he lives in Florida very far from me, and my mom (I'm under 18) said I could go stay with him if I ever chose that I wanted to.

The thing keeping me is my mom I love her very much but I feel like the home I'm in (Mom, step-father & sister) is
VERY unstable and am thinking more and more about going to live with my dad for a school year, maybe
more if it works out.

My bio-father is trying and I believe he would accept it, but for most of my years I've never lived with him, I
told him calling me his daughter hurt so he said I'll just call you kid(Not in a mean/sarcastic way).

The main points are

Is Florida accepting? And how hard would it be to get T & gender changed there?

Would the school cooperate?

What's a reasonable age to start getting T?

I get a bit of separation anxiety from leaving mom alone because family doesn't really care for her mental problems,
and I've always stayed with her and I love my mum.

What is the process for getting T in florida?

And before I go to college (still a bit far away) I want to be fully post op and would need financial help getting
there (I would help though), so I hope he's on board with that.

All help appreciated! Going there in summer, and need help making final decision. :-\

Where in Florida? It varies greatly.
Some therapists/endos will work with you around 15/16 for T. Some even earlier, some not until 18. I'd say 16 is the average youngest age they'll write prescriptions for.
