how addicted are you to buying dresses

I'm finding I might have to find a support group to stop me from buying dresses. Every time I go to Target for something I end up sifting through the clearance rack and getting one or two things. Today I found these two really cute dresses and my hands couldn't stop putting them in my cart. I think I could be a dressaholic . ever since going full throttle I can't keep my mind off a the idea of needing another dress.

VERY!

Before I wasn't too much when I was not passable. I had the mentality of "What's the use I buy nice brandy expensive clothes when they clock me" but recently since I'm a bit more passable I started getting addicted to buy clothes to the point it's hindering and delaying my next surgeries as all money is draining off in expensive clothes, shoes & brandy accessories. I'm always getting drowned in Louis Vuitton, Gucci & Chanel.

I tend to end up with business suits with a pencil skirt rather than pants or a dress with coordinating jacket. I have large breasts (YEA!) and large arms (BOOO!) so the jacket is necessary.

I think it is the same idea - expressing femininity...  I also think I dress in a way that is reflective of what I am going to be doing and my mood.  I do a lot of things and my mood seems almost infinitely variable.  :-\ Between those three things (femininity, activity and mood) I buy way to much....

But who can resist a good bargain???

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Can't really get into dresses and skirts. I have a few, but the last one I bought was 10 years ago when I got one for a particular function. I'd rather stick with jeans.

Wow, I've seen the picture before, I didn't know you made it yourself. Good on ya!

I was on a terror for three years.  And then got stopped dead in my tracks.

I got a new job.  And have to dress up every day.  I don't like it any more than when I used to wear men's suits.  Now, I go shopping for clothes, don't like what I buy, and whimper over the casual clothes I'd love to have but can't afford.  It almost feels like the old days all over again.

No, this isn't a good solution.  Perhaps a support group is the right answer...

I'm very addicted but my tastes are particular and have a hard time finding a good dress. My real problem is with mini skirts. That I could use a support group for.

I would love to learn how to sew my own dresses and skirts. I don't have the time to learn properly. I would like to learn enough to repair what I have.

Nice Kelly... so clever too  :-*
Wish I was handy that way.

As for the topic... yeah building my wardrobe, dresses are always on the want list, bought a really nice evening dress on sale the other day, will post a piccie when I take one... But getting a few now.. luckily being out of work and living off gradually dwindling savings is stopping me from going crazy with a spending sprees...

Starting to look at shoes now too... Behave myself!

Lovely pic, Kelly! Love the dress too - purple is a fave colour of mine, that's for sure.

I enjoy buying them but have had to curb my enthusiasm (rather than addiction) in order to clamp down on expenses. As soon as I get another job though, look out!!

Cindy returns from grocery shopping that somehow has included a new pair of boots, a dress and a pair of earrings.

very... i love clothes shopping, but my shoe shopping addiction is stronger. I love high heels.. i also love lingerie shopping too and i have a large collection... i love to wear sexy lingerie under my outfits..  as that something just for me.. ok i do model it for my boyfriend too.. but that is in the privacy of home.

I love to wear a dress/skirt, especially in the summer months..

But I will admit.. my grocery shopping trips don't turn into clothes shopping trips.

I went on a dress binge a few weeks ago and my bank account is still recovering. =P they were cute and I needed a few nice but conservative dresses for interviews.

I am a weird girl, I like video games and skirts, swords and nail polish, sharks and black lace...not sure if that's normal, definitely sure that I don't care. =P
