Hey everyone, I'm Eris! I've known about this site for a while, but I'm just joining now. I've come over here from the ->-bleeped-<- trans community, to see if it's gotten better since I was last here years ago!

A little background on me: I'm a 25 year old trans woman from Long Island. I started HRT on June 5, 2014, and have been "full time" since August 2014 (no exact date). I love chatting with and helping other trans people, whether non-binary, men, or women. Reading about other experiences and helping other people is what I'm all about.

Anyway, I can't wait to get to know y'all better!

I'm really good today. The company I work for is shutting down soon, but I've got a bunch of interviews this week and I'm looking forward to them! I'm also coming down from an AMAZING weekend with my girlfriend, so I'm a bit giddy.

It's a reference to a Greek goddess, who was the subject of a really cool myth called the Judgement of Paris. She's also the primary deity of Discordianism.

My middle name is Renée, which was picked by my mom. It has a double meaning of being a reference to Renée Richards, and being French for 'reborn'.

So sometimes I like to joke that I'm the Goddess Eris, reborn!

Lol nice. She sounds like a bad ass if she's the goddess of discordianism.

Do you have any pagan roots/history/beliefs/upbringing?  I ask because of your name choice, or perhaps it was chosen for it's obvious reasons alone, with no other connections to your spiritual life.    Either way, congrats and best of luck to you in this life!

I researched a lot of religions when I left the Catholic church as a teenager. Discordianism stuck, as a concept, but overall I'm not spiritual.
