It seems that inside every older person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

Agree with this.

Without my glasses, 5 years younger. With them, 3 years older. Guess the glasses make a huge difference.

For the record, I used two photos from the same "selfie session", one with glasses and one without. Same angle, even.
To strive to reach the apex of evolution is folly, for to achieve the pinnacle is to birth a god.

When the Stryker fires, all turn to dust in its wake.

Firstly, the press has had a field day with how wildly inaccurate the results have been when they fed celebrity photos through it, the most glaring being that it claimed Madonna was 25 or something, even though she looked about 45 in the pic, and is actually 50 odd.

Secondly, don't any of you wonder what the endgame is for this kind of software? I mean, on the Internet its a novelty with no useful purpose. So why are they developing it? Is there going to be some future where every time you walk into a store a camera feeds an image of you through this so they can identify the age and gender of shoppers? And what are the ramifications for trans people in all of this, especially those that don't pass all that well? 'Sorry your passport says female but Microsoft says male. Please step into this room'.

I'm half joking but I don't see much good coming from this!

I imagine this stuff comes from developing facial recognition software for security purposes.

This site ruined my morning. I fed in photo after photo, including my faves in which I'm wearing outfits I was corectly gendered in by human beings, and got mostly male. It may or may not be true but it made me feel so ugly and unhappy. Things only got better when I saw a poem about waiting patiently for spring that my Mom posted on a social media site.

I tried it again with another pic, and realize pink was for boys and girls. Ouch. I did not understand the thing the first time. Now I feel the pain too.

I don't need some hokey web site to tell me this, I've known it for a while now.

I got 50 and female even with a 10 day post op bruised and swollen face, which is a 7 year discount too, so I'll take it. Maybe I'll check it again after I heal up. :)

got female 3 out of 5 times. i like them odds

It generally tags everyone with short hair as male and long hair female I think.

While others have more the gender complex, me I have more the age complex. I am 30+ but fortunately it tags me always 18-23.  ;)

Haha, I did this the other day, too!  The *hilarious* thing was that when it got my gender right, it got my age right also.  When it pegged me as a girl, it made me four years younger!  I've not heard of a trans man being thought of as *younger* when perceived as female and *correct age* when seen as male so, I was laughing so hard at this.   ;D

I'm 29 and it said I'm 26. Guess that's about right, everyone always assumes I'm anywhere from 19 to 26. ::)
