how long after srs did it take for sitting pee to become "thoughtless"?

Even now, more than seven years beyond my surgery, I have a passing thought when I pee.

Every. Single. Time.

And it is glorious.

I've never stood to pee except in the forest.   That's a challenge nowadays.
............................................

I even pull down my pants and squat when peeing outside. I can't see it being any more difficult
if i didn't have that disgusting thing. I never pee in a standing position, even when naked, except
possibly when I am in the shower.

I've not had my SRS yet - but I've been peeing sitting down for as long as I can remember! I used to absolutely HATE doing it standing up, or ever going to urinals pre transition - made me feel remarkably male personally :(

Yes, I actually really really enjoy sitting to pee...... and from what you guys are saying, it seems like a good pre-op practice to get into

It already is had a penectomy on Saturday I feel like now I am peeing the way I was meant to be peeing it feels totally normal to me

While I sat 99% of the time pre op, I can't say there was a moment when I forgot that I had to sit.

Got to say, there's been a few times over the years I wish I could work out how to pee standing though
Yes! I'm single
And you'll have to be pretty f'ing amazing to change that

For me it is not a matter of having to sit. I prefer it that way and never have any desire to stand.

Well;
I have not had SRS as I am pre-op, but after more than 2 years on HRT,I always sit as its impossible to stand as I am now really tiny down there and basically if I was to stand, I would have to drop my jeans to find it.
One issue I have noticed now though is that quite often it dribbles backwards because of how tiny everything is. Mind you  now wearing tight women's skinny jeans and shorts with a gaff on, my "Vulva" looks quite flat!

Sitting is vastly preferable but there are times when even hovering doesn't get me high enough.  Outhouses and Johnny on the spots being the primary place but gas station bathrooms run a close second.  Between filth and spiders...  ok, just ew.
So I am jealous of all of you who have had SRS but, I do not look forward to getting my booty near places like that.

One of my friends goes to ren fairs a lot and she gets these funnel things that she uses to stand and tinkle.  I love the irony that I've already planned to get some to do the same when occasion requires it.

I pee'd sitting down before surgery. I used to pee standing up till one of my girlfriends used to make fun of me for it and said it was un-ladylike. Glad I got in the habit of it!
Got my surgery in my early 20's, now in my mid 20's living stealth

Once I went full time I started to sit as that's how girls pee and I wanted to be a girl like as I could. The first few post op were a strange feeling getting used to the sensation just before I started. I can say now that I feel really natural after just on 5 weeks post op. I do have to make sure the loose bit of skin that Chett has to sort out with a revision is not covering the area so the pee goes where it's meant to but apart from that all is as natural as I could ever hope for

Well im guess im the weird one out of all the girls. I stand to pee now when im at home or alone in public places. Thats its only because I have a brother..  and he pisses everywhere.lol. its nasty to sit in public bathrooms... and its just horrible sitting on a seat where someones bottom has been sitting period... so while I have that thing.. I might as well use it for what its worth ... and thats the only thing. Im a germaphobe . I dont like standing, but I rather stand and no sit on a filthy toilet ew.
