Hey! Welcome to Susan's place!

Um... well, about your question. I think you should wear what makes you feel good!  :)

The list is endless.
You should have a couple of skirts and tops, shoes to go with them, bras, panties, at least one slip, and stockings.  A wig is a necessity, unless you can style your own hair to make it look feminine.  You need some kind of breast form--this can be as cheap as a pair of stockings stuffed with birdseed to expensive breast forms.  You need makeup--I consider eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, powder, blush, lipstick, and nail polish to be essential.  Along with makeup you should have skin care products--good cleanser and moisturizer.  Jewelry is also important to accesorize your look--I am partial to earrings, necklaces, and bracelets; I also have an inexpensive ladies' watch.

There is no end to the way you can mix and match these items.  Suppose you see a cute skirt that you like.  Well, then you need to ask whether you have a top that matches it.  If not you need to look for a top.  And what shoes would go well with that?  Should I wear pearls with that or would a gold chain be better?  Would this look better if I wore the dark eyeshadow and a subtle pink lipstick or should I go with the darker lips and a more natural eyeshadow?  The fun is just beginning and there is no end to it.

Hi LeighAnn,
A very important itemfor any woman is her purse. For fall and winter a dark; for spring and summer light color is better. It needs to be big enough to care everything you need. Also need to big enough to be a weapon to keep all the male admires from gettig fresh with you. >:D
Chech out the Wiki section of what you need to carry in your purse.

Oh it's best to have a slip for your dresses as Louise suggested and a haft slip for your skirts.

Unless you have large natural breast or a good breast forms, a sports bra is best for keeping  your a... bird seed, pads ect.. in place.

Have fun,
:)

That is certainly the right approach.  Just look at what other women are wearing, look at the ads in the newspaper (that is if you are old enough to still read newspapers), read the fashion advice in the paper (this is generally more realistic than trying for a high-faschion Cosmo-girl look).

One thing you have not mentioned is shoes.  These also need to fit your age.  Most women have many more pair of shoes than the average man.  As a man I get by with one pair of dress oxfords, one pair of athletic shoes, and one pair of casual shoes.  I must have about eight or ten pair of women's shoes, including heels, flats and sandals.  Again, look at what women your age are wearing.
