After trying several techniques, I found that gaffs with sleeves work best for me.  I wear very tight jeggings in public with no trace of the boys! A little practice has helped to make public bathroom breaks work. Good luck.TGXYEH

look into a trans scrotal piercing:)  takes a year to fit to where you forget you did it and wake up still tucked the next day.  thats naked too:)  before my orch, the hrt did some shrinking on the round things and they hid up in those canals.  then placing my penis tucked away in the scrotum, it kept them pushed up.  was sore like srs for a few months, but now feels great.  like having both genders, this way i can be happy and so can my wife;)
That's a disturbing and yet intriguing idea. I'll give it some thought. I wonder how much trouble the piercings would cause if one went for SRS later? I don't think SRS is in my economic future but Sweetie thinks it might be crowd-fundable.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Medical tape does work, the micropore is good as its for sensitive areas and is mostly just sticky paper and it can stand up in water for a bit too. Durapore if you want stronger and more water resistant. Me, I don't really sweat much and can wear tape for a few days before needing to remove it, but I'm sure that would vary from person to person quite a bit.

Since you're already using shapewear, you could also just shop around for a pair with a better "seat." I never tucked per se, but I had good luck using a girdle (the sort designed for older women with more full coverage than the shaping panties) and sort of settling everything atop the reinforced crotch of the thing. It made my crotch area look a couple inches lower than it really was, but flattened and shaped everything nicely, and I tried on a few until I found one that had a broad enough crotch panel to cover and support comfortably.

Funny thing is, post-GRS the danged thing still comes in handy for a couple of really form-fitting dresses where I could use the tummy flattening. ;)

Oh gosh, so many replies :))

I thank you all for your tips. I still don't want to use tape, even if you highly recommend it ^^ I am soo sweaty down their, my underwear is always ... how to describe it without it sounding totally gross... anyways... so tape is just going to be gross.

Maybe wearing two pants would be a solution... I think one of the most problems is, that women's underwear is always really...light... it doesn't really hold anything, because it isn't intended to do so because a cis-woman doesn't have anything that has to be hold...

@Jenna Marie: I think I'm actually using girdles. Couldn't find the right expression (english isn't my native language) I hope that someday I will find some with a better "seat" as you call it :DD

@Gracie With sleeves, do you mean those with... this kind of "pocket" where you get your package into it and then kind of... "tie" it away? I had one of those. It was expensive and it could have worked better... the "pocket" was sewn too far on the front...

Hmm... at least a lot of transwomen can look forward to their SRS. But at the moment I don't see myself doing that... so I will always struggle to hide my private parts, woohoo!!

Thank you again for your ideas <3

PS: Nope nope I am definitely not going to get a scrotum piercing ;)

I'm keeping my penis, and I want it to function.  I like cute skirts, too.  For the most part, I don't tuck, per se.  I look for panties that have good elastic around the leg.  I pull the back of the panties up first, point the head between the testes, then pull the front up.  There's enough of a bulge that I won't wear pencil skirts, but anything with more volume works.

One trick I learned recently is that women hang things from their waists, where men hang things from their hips.  If I hike my a-line skirt up a bit, the fabric hangs away from my body, and the bulge vanishes.

I had an idea a little while back to paint the inside of panties with rubber cement rather than use tape*.  This was confirmed by a friend of mine who dated a cross-dresser.  I consider that source suspect, as he was only doing it for an hour or two at a time and (a) didn't mind pain for that short of a duration, (b) didn't have to function in day-to-day life (e.g. trips to the bathroom).  I'll experiment with it some time, and if I like the results, I'll write it up here.

* To be clear: I mean, let the rubber cement cure before wearing them!

ughh! I am so looking forward to kicking out the the evil twins and getting the ultimate tuck, also called SRS. What I do pre-HRT is wear extremely tight shapewear and a a pad to flatten everything out. After I get some HRT, I'll be able to hide the damn T-factories. With enough money and the okay of an endo I want to get get an orchi pre-SRS so I won't have to take spiro for too long and I can actually tuck it back without discomfort.

Okay, I'm changing my answer.  I just found a pair of short shorts that looked AMAZING... just so long as you don't look at the lumpy mess in front.  Wah!  :'(  They were only $4 at value village, I should have bought them anyway... I'm gonna learn how to tuck eventually...

I've tucked for years - mainly out of curiosity from watching too much RuPaul  :P
- But once I got it down (and them up), I found that men's briefs (that I wore for most of my life - not the same pairs obvi) work well if they're a smaller size than what you'd normally wear. Two pairs works - with tights or a pair of women's panties over to keep them snug - and everything stays reasonably well - in my experience at least.

HRT shrinking the berries so they stay in the actual pockets... that would be interesting... Mine just hangout in the canals without too much movement...

I find that two pairs of microfiber panties, right now I am wearing bikini style. Then again I have been tucking for more than a decade, at this point I can from a standing position retract my testosterone poison factories into there cavities with just abdominal muscles, so that's never been a problem, so ya the double pair has worked well for me but it took time to get used to and time to learn to do right.
What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard

I used to have a huge problem tucking. It really helped that hormones shrunk things a bit, but I've found a way to hide it quite well with two small pairs of tight microfiber shorts. Lets just say I had a large issue before, but now I can pull everything back, pull up the front of the undershorts and then pull up the back. No tape or glue or anything required.  Also no panty lines or anything if done right. Once you get the science down, it's quick, u can pee standing up or sitting down, and no chafing or tightness or any pain anymore. It also really helps to have the band around the legs to keep anything from slipping out.

I just went to target and picked up the small, stretchy and super thin material microfiber shorts in different colours. Works great for all clothes too.

This is the the never-ending newbie dilemma, but trust me girls, tucking doesn't have to be such an issue. There are several good proven methods (search the Susan's forum for many threads on it). The most successful seem to be gaffs, double panties, the cut-off pantyhose technique (check the Susan's Wiki), taping and-- my favorite-- nothing. I suggest trying them all. Different tucking methods can be used with different clothing styles.

In fact, the type of clothing you wear can help greatly. If you find it difficult to tuck so you look good in a pencil skirt, don't wear a pencil skirt often. My friend Barbie often wears short more pleated skirts and she get by without tucking at all sometimes. Anyway, if you shop carefully, you can assemble a wardrobe of nice looking things that require a minimum of tucking effort.

I find few garments I wear emphasize the crotch enough to me much of a problem, anyway. And in spite of what you might think, most people are not evaluating you by looking at your crotch.

For hygienic reason, I usually do not wear underwear panties, but tucking is not an issue. I mostly wear pleated or wide skirts like the following ones:

Yes. Very tight skirts can be problematic in tucking like the following one:

I had to wear Hanes little girls' brief for tucking.

Jeans also can be problematic.

My feeling is that tucking is not good for my health, and I mostly wear skirts or baggy jeans like the following one:

There are many ways to circumvent the tucking problem, and then why should we stick to it?

Just do it.

I've had great success using a pair of medium control briefs with a pad and then spanx style shorts over those.  The pads help sandwich everything in place and smooth it out.  The spanx helps prevent accidental sliding out - I have never found a pair of panties with a wide enough crotch for tucking.

I'm just so amazed that these days there are how-to's for this kind of thing on You Tube.  When I started transition waaaaay back in the pre-digital age there was just nothing in the way of information and I had to blunder about trying to figure all this out on my own.
