first day one HRT...

Hey everyone! So today was my first day one spiro! Needless to say a very good day. My doctor has put me on it for now and in a few months will be allowed estrogen! My question to all of you guys is while on Spiro what did you notice and when for: low sex drive, erection loss, facail hair growing slower and well anything else that you had gone through. its quick. just enjoy the ride. have to warn though, make sure to be near a bathroom because you would get the cramps or maybe that was just me

Congrats Chloe. Enjoy the ride. It gets much better eventually. Mellowness was the first thing I noticed. Mood swings and slowing down of hair growth were next since I started on low dose to start with. I don't recall when things basically died off down below but it was probably around the 3 to 4 month point since I was on low dose for 6 weeks to start with.

I do not have mood swings.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed with emotions and cry very hard. When done I feel much better and generally find the answer to my issue.

So how do you feel? The one thing I have noticed that since taking Spiro, things are starting to..um..seem smaller. That and I have to go to the bathroom.

I have been on both E and Spiro for two weeks now and quite honestly, I don't think I feel much of anything. I did have itchy nipples for a little bit.

Fewer erections will probably be the first thing you notice. You'll probably lose the perpetual urge to masturbate. Spironolactone is a diuretic, so be sure to drink lots and lots of water. For me, the first week was a battle to stave off headaches from dehydration. This will pass, but keep drinking water! Also, be sure to masturbate regularly, at least twice a week. Keep those kiegel muscles in good shape, and your orgasms will get really good.

After a month on spiro, I had girl nipples. I don't think this is the norm, though.
